What Transica does

More and more people ask an AI assistant to find, compare and book things for them. Transica makes sure your product is one the assistant can actually use, and shows you the evidence.

The problem

When someone asks ChatGPT or Claude "find me two jazz tickets under ₹1,500 this Saturday", the assistant has two ways to reach your product:

  • Through your website, clicking and reading like a person. It's slow, and it trips over carousels, hover menus, unlabeled buttons and sign-in loops.
  • Through an app built for assistants, an MCP server that exposes your product as a small set of well-described tools (for example search_events, get_event, join_waitlist). It's fast and reliable, and it's how assistants' app directories list products.

Most businesses have an API but no MCP server, no safe way to let people sign in to one, no way to test it, and no idea what each directory's reviewers will ask for or what keeps an app listed. Transica covers that whole path.

What you can do with it

Transica covers the whole life of an app for AI assistants: build it, secure it, prove it, host it, get it listed and keep it working.

  • Build

Turn your API spec, your existing MCP server or what AI agents observe on your site into a connector: a versioned set of tools. You pick the endpoints; AI drafts the tool names and descriptions; you review and publish.

    Connectors

  • Secure

People sign in through the provider your site already uses, and each tool is either public or needs a login. Reads go live; tools that change data run only once an admin approves them; anything high risk never runs.

    Hosting · Safety and limits

  • Test

Run real AI agents against your website (in a real browser) and against your connector (tools only), with success checks you define. A comparison runs the same tasks both ways and reports the speed-up.

    Tests

  • Host

Serve the published connector at its own address, https://yourapp-mcp.transica.dev/mcp, or on Business and up at mcp.yourdomain.com with a branded sign-in page. Health is checked every 15 minutes.

    Hosting

  • Get listed

Check your app against the published ChatGPT and Claude directory rules, run the test prompts reviewers expect, fill in the listing, and download exactly what each portal asks for. You submit under your own name.

    AI app listings

  • Maintain

After listing, Transica emails admins when hosting fails or recovers and re-reads your own MCP server's tools for changes. On Business and up it also reruns comparisons weekly and emails you when a directory's rules change.

    Monitor health, usage and traffic

There are also free tools that need no account: an AI readiness scan for any web page, an MCP directory check for any public MCP server, and the Transica connector, which runs both from inside your AI app.

How the pieces fit

The guided setup walks this path in eight steps; see the Quickstart. Everything belongs to a site (one domain you've verified) inside an organization (you alone, or your team). Usage is measured in test credits, and paid plans add live apps (hosted connectors). See Key concepts.

Who it's for

  • Product and growth teams at businesses whose customers could reasonably ask an assistant to do something on their behalf: book, buy, look up, compare, track.
  • Developers who already run an API (or an MCP server) and want it tested, hosted and listed without building the plumbing.
  • Anyone curious how AI agents see their site: the free scan and the AI browser test show exactly where agents fail.

What Transica won't do

  • It doesn't promise rankings or recommendations inside any AI assistant, and a clean directory check isn't approval. The platform reviews every submission.
  • It doesn't get around robots rules, bot challenges or sign-in walls, and public scanning isn't penetration testing.
  • Payments, account closures, credential changes and messages to other people are never run by agents or hosted tools. See Safety and limits.
